THE POSITION
We are looking for a part-time Social Media Administrator (5-15 hours per week) to join our amazing team! This position will be essential in executing social media campaigns.
Duties include, but aren't limited to, the following:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft, publish, and promote content - this can include graphic design within Canva, video editing in CapCut, Canva, etc, and writing platform-specific content It also includes creating ads within Meta Ad Center and/or Ads Manager.
- Manage client social media presence by responding to comments, questions, and direct messages in a timely and appropriate manner, and by inviting individuals and other companies to like, follow and interact with the page.
- Assist Digital Strategists with carrying out the social media strategy by researching topics and staying informed on industry trends.
- Attend virtual content planning meetings with clients when possible, or review meeting recordings to stay up-to-date with client strategy.
- Download authentic stock photography and other related marketing material into the respective folders for Spry clients.
- Organize and update client files and information.
- Track statistics and analytics for monthly reporting.
- Assist team with larger projects, events, and community engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in social media or marketing work.
- Knowledge of online marketing tools and technology.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of digital media platforms.
- Experience working in Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn.
- Experience in Canva preferred.
- Video editing in Instagram, Capcut or Canva preferred.
- As part of the interview process, selected candidates will be expected to present a portfolio of relevant professional work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged Sitting/Desk Work: Extended periods of sitting or remaining stationary at a computer setup during work hours.
- Repetitive Screen Time: Continuous visual focus on computer screens, tablets, or mobile devices, which can cause digital eye strain.
- Fine Motor Skills & Typing: Repetitive hand and wrist movements required for typing, mouse navigation, file organization, and mobile phone usage.
- Potential Travel or Event Support (Minor): Assisting with larger projects, events, and community engagement may occasionally require standing, walking, or light physical setup/coordination depending on whether events are virtual or in-person.
MENTAL DEMANDS
- Context-Switching & Multitasking: Managing multiple clients, updating files, tracking analytics, and drafting content simultaneously requires strong mental organization and flexible thinking.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Fully remote (opportunity for in-person work a few times per month)
- Hourly rate: $22-26 per hour
- Flexible schedule Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. Tuesday and Thursday remote team meetings are mandatory.
